Colour Washed or Floodcoated Labels
Colourwashing or Floodcoating is the term used when the whole label is one single colour. It would appear that the whole label has passed throught a "bath of colour".
All Plain White labels can be floodcoated to transform them into colourful, easily recognised markers. The most common use for this is warehouse I.D labels.
It is easy to identify the product manufactured in "Week 27" because it has a Blue label on it while "Week 29" has a Green label.
These coloured labels are typically overprinted with Black print using a Thermal Transfer label printer to print Text and Barcodes.
